Website data security is a critical feature of the Dispensary Platform, and we’ve made every effort to minimise risk and maximise safety features. Our fully GDPR-compliant software is hosted on a HIPAA-compliant server. We also operate in partnership with a third-party security company to stay abreast of the latest threats and ensure maximum protection.

Admin access to the site requires the latest biometric, two-step authentication, while practitioners’ and clients’ password access is restricted to dedicated data sections.

All payments are made off-site via links to regulated payment processors, which avoids the possibility of card detail theft via the Dispensing Platform.

The software on the Dispensing Platform has been developed to maximise security, minimise errors and exposure to future threats. Nearly all the software has been coded specifically for the site, with minimum reliance on third-party plug-ins.

Plug-ins are great for quick site builds, but typically only a fraction of each one is used (which slows the site down), they need updates (which often disrupt the function of other plug-ins), and they’re vulnerable to malicious threats. Our approach has involved a lot of “up-front” pain for “long-term” gain.

The Dispensing Platform is designed by an herbalist, working with a dispensary, and coded by an exceptional engineer. The software is designed to improve the practice of herbal medicine for dispensaries, herbalists and their clients for a reasonable fee, to support and grow the industry.
