Formula
- Yin Yang Huo, Rou Cong Rong, Xu Duan, Lu Jiao Shuang and Tu Si Zi warm and fortify Yang, strengthen the Kidneys and Liver and nourish Jing.
- He Shou Wu increases semen quantity, and with Shu Di Huang, Gou Qi Zi and Huang Jing nourish Liver Blood, Kidney Yin and Jing.
- Fu Ling and Ze Xie drain Damp and excess Heat from the body and prevent the formula from creating stagnation.

- Due to the focus on warming and tonifying Kidney Yang, this formula should be used with caution if there are signs of Kidney Yin deficiency.

- Lu Rong nourishes Kidney Jing, and with Ren Shen and He Shou Wu increase semen quantity in men.
- Shu Di Huang, Shan Zhu Yu, Gou Qi Zi and Dang Gui nourish Liver Blood and Kidney Yin and Jing.

Strengthens Kidney Yin and Jing, Nourishes Liver Blood
Indications
- Congenital (pre-conception) deficiency typically involves the underdevelopment of normal secondary sexual characteristics, with poor muscle and bone development.
- Men typically have undeveloped testes and penis, little facial or pubic hair, low libido and poor muscular development.
- Women typically have low fertility and ovarian reserve.
- Acquired (post-heavenly) deficiency is usually due to a chronic illness or a draining lifestyle (especially excess masturbation for boys in puberty).
- Of the three formulas listed, this is the most appropriate when Kidney Jing deficiency is accompanied by Kidney Yin deficiency.

- Dang Gui, Bai Shao, Shu Di Huang, Shan Yao & Shan Zhu Yu nourish Yin, Blood & Jing.
- Lu Jiao Jiao, Ren Shen & He Shou Wu nourish Jing and warm Yang.
